About Us
Who is Leveled Legislation? What do we do and how do we do it?
What do we do?
Leveled Legislation is a youth-led advocacy organization working to promote women's rights, especially under the law. We do so by mobilizing youth to support current legislation, creating & presenting new policies, and educating change-makers worldwide. We are a grassroots organization with members spanning from Qatar to Tennessee working to push for gender equity and women's rights in their communities. Leveled Legislation is dedicated to serving women internationally.
How do we do it?
Leveled Legislation has three teams : policy, education and research.
EDUCATION
We conduct workshops and seminars for students to learn about gender inequality and find out how to take action. With these programs, we aim to inspire young change-makers to be leaders in their communities to combat real world issues such as the battle towards true gender equality.
POLICY
Volunteers from all over the world research current legislation and policies dealing with gender inequality. We then take our research and meet with legislators through town halls to advocate for women. We discuss current laws, what needs to be changed, and the plan for action.
RESEARCH
Our team of incredible writers and editors focuses on developing bite sized, well-written articles to educate and spread awareness of current gender injustice, specifically in legislation.
